Welcome to the Flash In The Pan website

This is the website for Flash In The Pan, quite possibly one of the finest ceilidh bands in the Whaley Bridge, Glossop and surrounding areas. Like Clark Kent and Superman, Flash In The Pan are never seen in the same place at the same time as the band of the Powderkegs border morris.

Flash In The Pan provide a full evening's entertainment with friendly callers to guide you through the dances, and a group of musicians with an alarmingly high total of combined years of experience of playing for dancing.

All you need to provide is a decent-sized dance floor and a group of willing dancers: no experience necessary.

Ideal for parties, celebrations and general merriment, whether you want to call it a ceilidh, a barn dance, a hootenanny, a party with a dance, or just a bit of a do!

This site is permanently in the building stage, but as time ticks by we should have photos, sound samples, a gig calendar, a tune book, and other exciting stuff that we haven't even thought of yet. So please feel free to have a look round and call back soon to see what's been added.
